Langford is located on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish, specifically Xwsepsum (Esquimalt First Nation), Lekwungen (Songhees), Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay), and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Malahat Nations.

We recognize and honour your rightful place on these lands, and we thank you for the opportunity to become better relatives and stewards of the land.
